Glad Mommy and baby and doing OK now.

He is 6 lbs and 19 inches long, but no fat anywhere but his little cheeks. The newborn clothes were way too big and he was sliding right out of them :roll: :roll: :roll: His feet are really tiny and his ears are not fully developed, they said those were signs of being a preemie. Other than that and being so thin, he really looks good. If he would have been full term they estimate that he would have been an 11 lb baby :shock: :shock: :shock: I just talked to Mom and she said they are both doing really well and heading for home this afternoon. They stayed at family's the last 3 days to be close to the hospital or she would have had to stay a couple of more days in the hospital.

Oh, Amma, I'm so glad everything went okay. Such a worry. It's hard to imagine preemie clothes too big...gadzooks! Lots of love and kisses will certainly help him grow.

That is what I thought until I bought him some newborn sizes and he was swimming in them, LOL I actually had the nurse re-weigh him :roll: :roll: and we even tried some of their newborn onesies on him that had been washed and dried who knows how many times and they were just as big and sloppy :roll: :roll:

Amma what a little cutie pie!!! This might sound really daft but what about dolly's clothes for him? I've heard of ppl doing this for preemies before. Promise we won't tell him when he's older!

Beautiful......so glad he's healthy. One tip, I had an early girl.....The hospital told me to use Cabbage Patch diapers for the first couple of weeks because she was so small (no such things as premie diapers back then) If she can find them, they did work very well. Good luck to all
