Default My other passion

Counted Cross Stitch is my other passion besides quilting. I do knit and crochet but nothing compares to the cross stitch. Here are a few of my faves.
I was tickled when my winter welcome banner was put on the Stoney Creek cross stitch website for the month that I sent it in.
What other crafts do you enjoy??

Beautiful work! I really like the Natīve Angel! I was going through some boxes and came across a sack from an estate sale that had crewel and cross stitch in it. They're kits. I need to work on them or have them in a go bag when I go with DH to his office. I also enjoy hand embroidery. Just don't do enough of it. Out of sight out of mind! Need to put it back in sight!

I use to enjoy cross stitching but maybe with my new glasses I can get back to it. I have this hanging in my bathroom:

beautiful work. I too love counted cross stitch, but due to failing vision, I can't do it anymore.
i'm hoping for a surgery in November for renewed vision. I too crochet and knit a little bit.
but sewing is my heart. thanks for sharing your work with us.

I have to save these beautiful works for my DD. She does counted cross stitch and has given us some beautiful gifts.

I do counted cross-stitch too! It's my go-to craft in the evenings watching TV, when I don't feel like working on a big quilting project. So relaxing, and easy to put down and pick up! Your pics are beautiful!

I'm so jealous. I wish I could cross stitch that nice. Beautiful work.

I used to cross stitch all the time but now my hands can't do all that work. I don't even do binding by hand anymore, I do it all by machine.

Love them all! I used to use counted cross stitch patterns to do needlepoint. And I love the little ornament kits - I made tons back in the early 90's. Bought a few a couple years ago, I need to dig them out and get them done.
