Default My yard sale find today

I found these cute dolls at a yard sale this morning. The lady said she had bought them at a yard sale several years ago. I got to looking at them and I told the lady & my husband these are dolls that I had made 20+ years ago!
What are the odds of that happening? The lady I know her and she said since I had made them I could have them. They are in need of a bath and some clothes mending but I suppose some child along the way played with them and loved them.

What is the chance of that happening? So glad you got them back after so many years. Looks to me like they have been well cared for. Love Raggedy Ann and Andy.

Wow! What a special thing to have happened! They found their way home to you after all that time! Amazing! And they look almost brand new!

How wonderful!!!!

I hope the quilts I made for my grand finds their way back to me after her mom lost everything in a storage unite rental she didn't keep up with. I would be thrilled if I Knew they were taken care of by another little girl.

Love your story. I made Andy dolls for our three sons when they were little. One Andy doll didn't survive (too dirty to save). However, the other two sit in a rocking chair my husband made for the boys in our plant corner in the living room. "Boys" are now 48 and 50 years old. But, we enjoy the nostalgia. I hope you do also.

That's awesome! Feels so right. You other "kids" have come home.

My SIL made those for my now 40 year old son at birth. They have been passed along to two more generations. Great memories
