    My Yard Sale Find today

I found this lovely quilt at a yard sale this morning...for 5.00. I layed it out on my queen size bed and although it covered the top I am guessing it is for a full size bed. It is all hand sewn...have NO idea how old it could be..the lady didn't say and I didn't ask. There were several people that wanted to take it from me....yard sale people can sure be vicious sometimes. HA!!

I can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to let that go for five bucks. They definately didn't do the work and didn't appreciate what they had. It is beautiful and looks like 30's fabrics. I would love to own that.

It is so pretty. I thought I'd recognized some of the fabrics in there as some I'd found in some of my Great Aunts quilts, maybe a few feedsacks???

$5??? Wow! That would be worth it at a hundred times the price! Congrats on your score! It's fabulous! And now it lives with someone who appreciates it!

beautiful quilt, so happy you got it, when you see something like that at a rummage sale, be sure to hang on to it, pay for it and run to the car and lock it up and then go back to look for more goodies

No way....you got that for $5.00?? Some people just don't know value (except for those vicious garage salers that tried to get it from you)!
Bless, O Lord, the works of my hands....
