DH is the NCIS fan at our house, but I have watched it with him for a number of years. To me, it seemed like the first episode was so busy setting up plots that the storyline was lost. The second episode was not as busy with storylines, but still a disappointment after all the "hype" about Ziva and Tony being united. Their acting seemed forced and dragged on too long.

Wonder why Ziva left....sometimes characters leave thinking they are "hot" but they are nothing without the cast they come from.....still not quite sure about NCIS this year, but not much else out there at that time....

Unfortunately, the fans pushed for Tony and Ziva to be a couple and that was just so unrealistic for this type of program. I actually would have preferred to have Tony leave. He tends to be too distracting with his adolescent attitude. Love the show. Right now I am irritated with USA network because the are showing more of the LA show than the original.

We were disappointed too. BTW the actress who plays Ziva is pregnant, so I'm wondering if she might be back at some point. I really like her character and Ducky and Palmer. Wish they had more of a role. I agree Abby is irritating lately. Never much cared for Tony. I loved Kate who was on pre-Ziva. I used to love NCIS LA, but usually do something else when it's on. DH still likes it. We've really gotten hooked on Person of Interest after we finally figured out what was going on. Used to be a Castle fan too, but can take it or leave it lately. We are basically pretty bored with tv fare lately.
