Have one on me. This comes under the heading of "how dumb am I?" I can't believe this one. My Bernina 730, which I haven't even had 2 yrs, started making this humming noise abt. a week ago. I could not figure out what it was and intended to stop in at the LQS where I got it the next time I was in town. It was sewing fine. Well, today I was by there, but didn't want to stop as I didn't want to make DH wait for me, so I didn't. Then I started sewing and it was driving me crazy and I was wishing I had stopped and would have called them, but they were closed by this time. Then my bobbin thread ran out and I had to load the bobbin. Can you guess what happened then? :? Yeah, the lever for the bobbin winder had gotten pushed over and the bobbin winder had been running all this time!   Boy, am I glad I didn't stop!!!

well, my machine won't run if the bobbin winder thingy is pushed over...so, I guess I won't have that problem.
now, go kiss your hubby bc this time, he kept you from embarrassing yourself at the lqs, lol.
Sometimes they are good for something.

Sometimes it's the simple things that get our attention...
In the automotive world of mechanics, we say if we can't find the source of the noise...turn up the radio ... noise gone :D

Yes, I was very glad it was not a repair in the works. I think it had been beeping at me when I turned it on, but I didn't realize what for :?
