First, how do you locate your area on the site?
Second, how do you search for items?
I thought I had it at one time and they sent me an email with instructions where all the info was run together. Made me feel even "dumber" trying to decipher it!! LOL

Thanks!

when I registered, I had to use my zipcode and they kept my feed within 20 or 25 mile radius of me.

when you visit 'freecycle.com' and sign up you will be (registered) in YOUR AREA...you will receive email notices of adds/offers, requests.
when you sign up you will be able to decide how often you want to hear from your group...daily, weekly, everytime there's a new post...
when i signed up here i think i had a choice of a 25-50 mile radius of my zip-code...

Well, I discovered I was on the fron site! DUH! It's a .org not a .com I'm all signed up but I had to sign up for each town individually that is near me. Never could find where to put the "radius miles". But anyway, I'll probably been inundated with emails! LOL Have to take the bad with the good though!!

and have an email addy that doesn't use your name. you can set up another free one for freecycle. also watch what info you put when "joining" and doing your profile. freecycle always wants everyone to stay safe.
