Oh and on the Netflix, we pay $11.00 per month for the Blue Ray DVD. I set us up to receive one DVD at a time...the cheapest rate.

We shut off the satellite a year ago. Gives me more money to spend on fabric. We can about 80 channels on our antenna and several FM radio stations. Do miss watching "The Closer" on TNT but not enough to go back to satellite.

I think it's well worth it! They have a lot of good documentaries and t.v. shows besides many movies you can watch instantly!

We use Netflix every day. We get the videos 2 at a time and watch instantly on the computer. We have no cable services and really don't care.

Wow...and I thought I was the only one who didn't have cable...there are so many more peeps that don't have it.

Maybe I'll look into netflix since the ad keeps popping up at the top of the page.

I love netflix - get some dvd's but really like to stream the movies on my laptop - I put it in my sewing room and watch old movies while sewing - if you have DSL it should work great. Try it.

We use it and like it. We do not get any sort of tv otherwise. We are on the cheapest plan and we only stream stuff online. Occasionally some of the movies I want to watch are only available by dvd and not online streaming. But I still don't mess with the dvds. I say go for it. We like to watch tv series sometimes. The great thing about netflix no commercials :) And whoever said that netflix cuts out on them periodically on their laptop, I turned the high def setting off and mine doesn't cut out anymore.
