My DH has been wanting us to ride bike. Today is our anniversary and he insisted that I get a new bike and he would ride his old one.... So here is my pretty new bike.

It is a lot of fun to ride. He was going to get just a normal one but mine is so fun to ride we are going to get him one too as soon as mine is paid for!

What a cool bike. Are they hard to ride and steer. Did you have fun on your ride?

That's nice. I have one in the garage that I just don't get up enough steam to ride.

Seriously, that looks pretty cool! I've never seen one like that.
I was riding until the summer long heat wave gripped Ohio. Can't wait to get back riding!!

WOW! He went all out and got you a recumbent bike to boot!! Nice. I hope you enjoy riding together. I have seen windshields for the front of your bike (just in case you really get into riding and ride in the rain).

Thanks everyone! It is very easy the ride and the best part is there is no stress on the back or bottom side. The only body part that is sore this morning is my wrists from trying to figure out the shifting.

The I steer by the handles down at my sides. It's actually very easy to ride.

    Wow, that is so cool.
I am currently loooking to buy a bike so DH and I can ride now that my back is pretty much healed. Never thought of a recumbant bike. I bet it would be easy on your back, but am a little concerned about the wrists.
Where would I put my bike bell? Gotta have an old fashioned bike bell. 8-) Love the basket.
Can you carry these on a car bike rack?
    Cool. Have fun.

I love you new bike. I have an adult tricycle that was a gift from my husband at christmastime 2 years ago. he got sick and it was over a year before we were able to get the bike shop to put in together for us. I still have not taken a ride on it. I have to get a helmet and I don't want my neighborhood youngsters laughing at me when they see this old lady riding a large tricycle. does anyone out there have a trike also.
