Wow! Amazon came out with a beautiful new kindle - the kindle fire. Looks like a small Ipad. I couldn't resist. I'm on the waiting list.

Besides the new model, they've revamped last years models. They are now touch screen.

Also, a Wifi Kindle is now only $79!

I bet there will be a run on these because Christmas is right around the corner!

My husband just gave me an I-pad. I love what it can do, but am afraid of the time I might spend on it. Just like this board.

Soooooooo my question is, which is better for versitality, Kindle or IPad? I'm looking and making my list for Santa :wink: :lol: . I kinda want it to be able to also surf internet also while traveling...., but to read also

The new Kindle Fire doesn't have the e-Ink technology. This e-Ink makes reading on it very comfortable for your eyes. The Kindle Fire has color however. So there is a trade off for readers. I will stay with the current Kindle for now.
