Default quilting apps for kindles

I have seen where many of you have posted that you have kindles and I am pleased to say I got one for Christmas. Don't have a smart phone so apps are new to me. Are there quilting apps or apps that quilters/sewers can download for free. I downloaded Pintrest and You tube so I can watch MSQ but what else do you use? Thanks in advance. You guys are great at sharing.

I have downloaded some free/cheap quilting books onto my Kindle Fire -- they did not work on the Kindle Touch but the Fire is in color so I can take the Fire into my sewing room and follow a pattern.

The kindle fire runs a customized version of the Android operating system. You can try any of the apps that run on an android, but might run into issues. My brother has a fire and not everything will run.
Having said all that, "QuiltCalc" by Robert Kaufman is available for the Fire and is a good one.

Kindle Fire is a tablet. The Kindle is an E reader. There are different models (generations) of each. If you go to the App store at Amazon, all will be listed and will alert you if it will work on your device before downloading.

try "Quick & Easy Quilt Block Tool for Android" It's 102 popular quilt blocks with instruction for making each in 5 different sizes, plus rotary cutting directions and construction diagrams, also has rotary cutting charts and indexes, reference tables, yardage requirements, etc. & it's free

I have downloaded the Robert Kaufman app but haven't had time to use it.
