Amazing that he was able to eke out enough food to keep himself alive that long. He looks like a great best friend. He does seem to fit right into your heart dosn't He? You have saved a life and the result is going to be loved .

He must have had a digestive upset last nite. He thoughtfully barfed on the bathrrom floor :( .
Got his second appt with the vet set up for his remainder torture...remove 4 stitches in his shoulder (one fell out by itself), re-worm him, boosters on the feu-leuk vacine, and chip him. He was supposed to be chipped while he was out for the fixing, but they had run out of chips!
He seems to have lost a teeny bit of weight, he's not wolfing everything we put down in front of him nor is he begging for food every time we hit the kitchen. So I think he's got the concept that food is no longer an issue. As far as feeding himself, I had been putting catnip on a twine mouse and giving it to him to play with. The second time, he ripped it apart, he's pretty powerful. And he's fast, I got him to chase a string and he is like lightening. Plus the ranger said he'd been into the garbage, so what with one thing and another, I guess he was pretty able to feed himself and even tho he's all beat up, we never saw the other party, I'm assuming Sugar Ray won the fight

My orange kitty, named Lucky Tango, loves her laser mouse. She knows where it is kept and will try to "toy" it out of the tray on the end table where it is kept. All I have to do is to click the button on the mouse and she is on alert. The only times she can play with it is when the dogs are outside. They go nuts over it also.

He sounds like a real lover. Shame on whoever dropped him off! Our previous orange tabby was named Bear, because he looked like a little fat teddy bear when he laid on his back to sleep. He was 16 when we had to put him down for major diabetes problems. He was a big lover and a snuggler, and now I have to get all teary cuz I still miss him. :( What a lucky guy yours is, to have found you just in time!
