I just. Been gifted with this incredible machine. 135 decorative stitches, needle up/down, full needle adjustments all metal case. ( weighs a ton). All metal gears. I had one of these 20 years ago and my ex-dil took it when she left ds. I replaced it with another Janome $1000.'s more but not nearly the same machine. PROBLEM : no foot pedal. If anyone in their travels comes a cross a foot pedal with a Long narrow plug with 4 yes four, 1/4" slits. I will pay for it. I found one on eBay for $79.95. I think that's too much for a 20+ years old machine pedal. Thanks so much for your help!

Did you try contacting Sewing Machine Plus....I would think that any place who deals with Janome would be able to help you. Sewing machine plus has one for 79.99
