Default Non slip fabric for socks

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me track down a supplier of fabric that has the tiny rubber patterns on it for making non slip socks? My mum needs socks specially made as we can't find a supplier of ones wide enough to fit her badly swollen legs. Mobility is a problem so need something that has just enough grip to stop her slipping and falling yet not so grippy that she can't lift her feet, something she struggles with in the best of conditions. Making the socks isn't a problem in itself. Thank you any link would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry I know this isn't a quilting request)

Why not try using silicone and applying it yourself in fun patterns and then let dry

The last time I bought it was when I needed it for the feet for children pj's. It was in packages and was fairly expensive. I don't know of anywhere that sells it by the yard. Maybe someone else does?

They carry this by the bolt at Joanne's. I bought some there a while ago. How much do you need? I probably have enough extra left over that I could send you some.

You can use Tulip Puffy Paint. Just paint on a design or squiggles, then hit it with a good blast from your hair dryer. I've also used a "slick" fabric paint, which only looks slick.

One of our local medical supplies stores, sells something in a tube that you can apply to bottom of socks. Hope your mum keeps safe from falls!
