My dh made this for me to hold my old blue
canning jars. I just love it. enjoy

You could fill them with fabric...then it would be quilt related! LOL. I used to buy those at flea markets. We didn't have much money, but I'd take three dollars and see what I could find!

Very nice. I can remember approx.30 yrs ago an elderly lady died who lived down the alley from us. I was walking the dog and noted many boxes out in the alley for garbage pickup. You won't believe this but every box had many 2qt blue canning jars in them. The only problem was they were full of food. Another elderly neighbor told me that Mr. Smith did all the canning and he died in the late 50's .Being newly married my husband was more than happy to clean out all the jars. Today I don't think he would be so eager to do this task.

that is awesome! love it! I am a country and antique collector myself! This looks like it should be in Country Sampler magazine! I see those quilts in the background too!
