LOL, She is always on my machine. I can't get any sewing done till she gets petted real good. She will try to get my fabric and thread if I try to sew with her on there. So I have to take time for her first. That is just the routine.

move cat to pet bed or your bed which is more likely her bed
turn on machine
sew
repeat when she returns
