Smile Nye vs Dr Ham

Did anyone see the debate between Bill Nye - evolutionist and Dr. Ham - creationist Tuesday evening? I found it most interesting and was impressed with the professionalism of both men. What did you think?

It was a debate as all debates should be done. No name calling. No insults. Just I disagree with you because . . . .

No matter how you feel about the topic, these men did a great job discussing the issue. I wish our political debates would be as informative and civilized.

Myself, a friend and six teen boys watched it. I was able to teach them about debate strategies (asking a question or challenge at the end of your rebuttal time knowing your opponent can't answer it because they have to address the next question). The boys learned a lot about cozying up to an audience and throwing in little zingers that could be considered condescending. Both men handled themselves quite well. They both knew their subjects and led with their hearts. We watched through live streaming, which lagged sometimes, but it's supposed to be on the answersingenesis youtube channel. The boys had a few things they wanted to say. They're thinking of making a youtube video based on their take of the debate.

Think it wouldbe a great idea for the boys to make a you tube video. It would give them experience and an opportunity to express their views.

I missed this debate BUT, I have always believed in a God directed evolution. I don't think the sides are mutually exclusive.
