    Once again, EWWWWwwwwwww!

On the donut line, we have a new donut shop near the house. I stopped on my way home from work yesterday. They didn't have a whole lot out on display, but the girl behind the counter asked me if I wanted anything in particular, and started describing all sorts of flavors, fillings and toppings. When I asked "Cream filled?" she asked "what kind" and named a ton of flavors. Then asked me what I wanted on the outside, including dark chocolate, crushed nuts, etc. Then she walked back to the back, (glass wall so you can see them making the donuts, and about three minutes later walked out with my freshly made just for me bavarian creme filled donut!

    And the kolaches were huge!
awww, I'm going all droooly mouthed here...haven't had brekkie yet...what's a kolache...give me the mouth watering details....I might feel a donut run, coming on...mmmm! warm and fresh and gooey....yikes, I might not make it out the door...gonna shove something in my face any moment now...food, I need food!

q&c, a kolache is a fresh, warm yeast roll baked with some kind of meat, like a small braut, or ham or sausage inside. Can get them with cheese (melted & gooey) inside with the meat. Yummy!

It's all your fault, gai! I had to go in kitchen and whip up some tall stacks of light fluffy pancakes and bacon!
Now, I'm like a pig laying around in the mud...worthless, can only move my typing fingers...
    NO I DON'T NEED A SUPPOSITORY!
ha! read your mind...I'm moving, I'm moving...(with b cheeks locked together, she runs like the wind,...not that kind of wind!

I grew up with poppyseed kolaches, and prune kolaches that my grandmother and aunts made. My mom made them also, but it seemed more special to have Grandma's kolaches! :?

my mother had her first baby at sixteen, and then another at 18.
Her mother told her, to stop all that baby making to drink warm milk before she went to bed.
She did that for a while, then along came,...guess who?...
She complained to grandma that the milk thing didn't work.
Little grandma said...your supposed to drink the milk, and nothing else...go to sleep!
