Does anyone know if this is a name brand sewing desk? I believe this was listed before on CL for $60. I do know that it is expandable so it opens.

It looks similar to the sauders sewing cabinet sold by walmart. If it is I have one but have not put it together yet, I paid 99.00 for mine. My daughter has one and it is very nice sturdy. The price of 40.00 is really good. I would go check it out in person to see what kind of shape it is in. You can go online to walmart and search for sewing cabinets and see it there. Hope that helps.

My oldest Daughter and I have one identical to that one. Bigger front door opens straight out and an extention on the side opens towards the ceiling, door goes to the left and extention is held up, to extend the top working area. Very nice, we gave $100.00 for ours at Wal Mart years ago. They were a one time purchase by Wal Mart. Nancy's Notions had them for $150.00.

I have that sewing desk and I love it! I got it as a gift. I would jump on it at that price!
