    Overstock.com question

I used to get emails from them offering anywhere from 7 to 15% off coupons quite often. I haven't gotten any of these in a long time, but also haven't bought anything either in a long time. Is anyone still getting these?

I get them everyday and I don't buy a lot from them. Maybe you should sign up again.

I ordered something a couple of months ago and started getting the coupons in my email -- almost every day, it seems!

Thanks for your responses. I tried signing up again, but they won't let me - says I'm already in the system.

Try establishing a new email account with Yahoo or Gmail, then sign up that email with Overstock.

In that case, you would only need to log in again would you not?

On the subject of Overstock.com....my credit card was compromised this Spring by a person using that site, just briefly.
I now am very cautious when using the new card.

I have posted this before, but it's worth saying again! Go to your bank and get an extra ATM card with a visa or mastercard logo on it...ONLY use this card for your internet purchases...if you're going to buy 159.00 worth of stuff, it takes 2 minutes to go to your bank on line and transfer the money...complete your purchase..this way if anyone gets into a site you've visited, they will be faced with an empty card! The banks are much more secure than the internet sites...crooks won't be able to get anything. You can also put an e-mail notification on your card so the bank will tell you whenever there has been a transaction..you will know with lightening speed if a site has been compromised, meanwhile, the cards with your real credit limits can't be touched.

Ditto sewplease. I recently ordered something from them and since then get daily offers; mostly 10% off but still.

Haven't seen any in spam, so may set up a new email and try again.

Good advice Donna13350. I have a low limit credit card that I use for internet purchases. I used it at the food court at the local mall (hadn't shopped at the mall in years) recently and soon thereafter got a call from the cc company questioning the purchase of a gaming system and games from Sao Paulo, Brazil!
