I was looking in the LQS and JoAnns, there are SO many owls prints now! I LOVE owls. I am just wondering why they are So popular now?
They seem to be everywhere!

OHHHH don't tell me that, feathers and owls are my weakness, and I am on a fabric diet!

I think all fads trend and some repeat owls were very popular in the 70's and are repeating, BUUUT my personal opinion is that every thing I like ends up popular just to tick me off cause I like to be diffrent,I love skulls, along comes the ed hardy fad,And now my beloved owls..... ,lol

I never thought of the 70s thing coming back! I think they are so cute too, love the realistic ones though better!

In many of the I-spy swaps lately, I've seen soooo many owls. And it's nice to see such a variety instead of the same old patterns for each owl!

I've noticed that! I did an I-spy square exchange last year and I got back several owl prints. I'm not sure what has brought this on, but I like it. The fabrics are really cute!

Kind of retro looking too! I don't know why they came back...I don't really care for them but I love the little birds that are out....
