Default Patriotic Colors

I need to keep reminding myself that there are members from all over the world on this board - and that the colors considered "patriotic" vary from country to country.

You are so correct but I think the majority of the members are from the U.S.

I would really enjoy seeing our friends' from around the world post quilts in their patriotic colors - what a beautiful way to connect with them!

JanieH ... here's a thread that you may find interesting!

Everyone ... Remember, the thread never closes, and everyone is welcome to continue posting to it. We're still there to help cheer others along the way to completing their patriotic projects!!!

Perhaps there are some International Patriotics being made during the Olympics that you would like to share?
Please do!

JanieH .... Glad you are enjoying those Patriotic Projects! Muv's quilt really was exceptional, and all sewn on a treadle!! We had a lot of fun working on them. Now we need some new ones to follow and cheer on ... how about you?

Lynnie ... Yes we have the Quilts of Valour program here in Canada.
There are some others that are quite similar to QOV.
Different names, but the same general intent.
