Beautiful pics. I knew I wasn't the only "moongazer" out there! I saw a quilt once that was based on a similar pic, but the tree branches were bare and the moon was kind of framed by them....thanks for the pics, nice to see all the photos people share.

Those are beautiful pics of a moondog moon. They are called that, why? Have no idea. I just know that the halo's around the moon are from frost crystals in the atmosphere and the way they line up. They are so awesome~! Thank you for sharing!

It was a beautiful moon last night. Isn't it a shame that we don't look up at the sky very much? Last night my patio was all lit up and it was beautiful!
