Here are some more pics of our "barn" and WV hills. This looks north/northwest from my side door. So peaceful.

Your making me miss Virginia. I lived there for a couple of years. It was soo pretty. The mountains, creeks, rivers, even the people- were all great. No litter any where. Now I'm back in Houston. My husband hates it here, but this is where I was raised and all my family is here.
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Your welcome. I cannot imagine moving back to a big city. Do not miss the hustle and bustle at all. Do miss all athe LQS and a better variety in restaurants. Love it here.

This little bit of heaven has helped me get through some really rough times the last several years. I am able to just sit and meditate and lots of prayer. My sis has done the same when she visits. Most of the time there are cows next door, deer in the yard, my chickens free-ranging, and dogs and cats in the pics. Don't know how I managed not to get any of that in these pics. Wish you could all come for a quiltin bee.
Thanks for your kind words.

OH WOW!!!! How awesome. I have a friend that lives in Maryland, I used to live there many years ago and I just love it there. I also have a friend that lives in Stephensville Va. I think it is called. visited there a # of years ago, in the fall at that. Beautiful. Would give anything to live in a place like that. Now maybe 30-35 years ago no but things change as you get older and what was not appealing in your 20's looks like heaven when you get into your 50's.
Thanks so much for sharing and hope to see more of your beautiful place.
