Yes, of course! But, it so nice to catch it at this stage and not much later when it is hard to fix. To be honest, there is a table runner in my closet that has one section in a bargello sequence backwards-and- it is still there. So, fix it and move forward. I should take my own advice!

No I didn't quilt make that mistake but made a whopper of one and didn't catch it till I had it on the frame, had quilted all around the block excluding the block in error. Had to frog all around the block, turn it correctly and then hand stitch it back to the quilt. It was not easy and I'm sure I swore under my breath about how stupid of a mistake that was. Like how didn't I see that before it was put on the frame??????? Oh well, its fixed and I now find if I take a photo of the quilt and view it on the PC screen I can see the mistakes easier than just looking at it on the design wall. Don't know why but it just works better for me that way. Surely don't want to go thru that again.

Of course I've done things like that. That's why I always tell people to step back and admire your work every once in a while.
It's also a good idea to hang an almost finished quilt on a design board somewhere where you can look at it often, at a distance. Leave it there for a few days. If nothing pops out at you and you really like the way it is done, then you can move on to finishing.
