One more thing, our big boy, Carmello is huge- almost 20 pounds and he sleeps the same way! haha
I think his belly is so big he sorta just flops over to sleep :D:D
We also have his Mom, Katie, and she is tiny! 7 pounds and all her body parts are miniature- they look so cute together :D

Our boys (brothers) are as different as nigh and day. Mr. Bean has hyperthiroid also and is holding at 8 pounds. That does not keep him from hunting rabit, duck, rats the size of Vermont, and anything else that he can pounce on. Monty is a chicken-sh*t who loves to torment the dog and sleep between our pillows. Both boys love to hop on the side of the tub and take a drink of my bathwater (as long as there isn't any smell-good stuff in it and I chase them away). We are well trained cat people - that's for sure.

One of my kitties drinks by dipping her paw but the other 2 want a clean dish. I am well trained wait staff. Have wondered if the fountain would appease all parties - namely the cats. On e also climbs into the shower, after I'm done, to try to drink and then wonders why her paws are wet. They all are loves and rescues.

Many years ago, our first cat used his paw to drink and eat. His favorite was a few drops of eggnog at Christmas! He and the dog used to eat half their dinners and then swap bowls to finish. They were both healthy and lived to old ages, so I guess it didn't hurt them. They also licked the kids ice cream bowls every night which included chocolate syrup. So much for the new ideas about feeding pets! New cat just eats cat food because we don't eat ice cream!

We also have a big wonderful spoiled guy named, Rusty. He is tipping the scales at 21 #. I wish I could put a picture up as he is the most beautiful cat in the world. LOL Don't we all say that!!! We have him on a diet but to no avail. He is just a big boy and we love him to pieces.
