What I found funny was the No Trucks sign in front of the "stage coach Hotel" LOL The old lady running the place told me to have him "hitch up his horses" out back But he parked down the street at an old truck stop.
Im glad yall enjoyed them.

What a wonderful place to stop at, pictures are great....you did good :D We have a "Sammy" just like Missie, great dogs. Does her hair stand up on her head? Sammy's does, so strange to feel when you pet him.

Little did I know I would get a history lesson here. I lived in Colorado my whole life and never knew their was a Springfield, CO. Guess that's because it is on the eastern plains and we never much cared for that area. Wealways went west of teh mts. Anyway, looks like a nice stop. May have to look it up next time we go back and do a road trip. Thanks for sharing your trip and other pics. Missy looks really happy. She knows she was rescued - I can tell because I used to work at a shelter for almost 5 years. All our critters - 4 dogs, 15 cats, and 1 goat plus chickens are all rescues.   They know when they have it good.

Thanks for sharing. What a lovely stay you must have had. The pictures are beautiful. I can see some of those in landscape quilts -- namely, Pond/Waterfall; Tall Texas Rose (love the fence up close), Blackeyed Susan buds to bloom; Stagecoach hotel side, and side gate. Thanks again for sharing.
