I have the weather channel on and they just said that 39 states in the USA under a winter storm advisory right now

we are to get 3 - 7 inches of snow in central Indiana tonight and tomorrow

dusting of snow around 2:30 AM. Cold, cold rain all day, icicles on my mailbox! Icing on roads expected tonight and tomorrow.

Inside: Warm and toasty, cozy, cozy, cozy. Fabric strewn all over the house...

Same for Central Iowa (as Indiana is getting).

Snow, slick roads, more snow on its way. COLD! and getting colder with wind chill over the next couple of days.
Our state is one of the ones under a state of emergency.
They are low on salt for the roads!

Then 40 by the weekend with rain.

I'm ready for spring!

19 degrees here in N. Atlanta. 5-6 inches of ice covered snow at my house. My husband and all the neighborhood men have been playing outside all day. No kids in the hood.

It is 24 degrees right now in N. KY., it is supposed to start snowing about 4:00, they say we will get between 2 to 4 inches by the time it stops on Wed.

For Corpus Christi, Texas (think about 175 miles from the souther tip of Texas that juts into the Gulf of Mexico) its 40 degree's; misty; windy and a front is moving in about 2 a.m. -

Sunday at 4 a.m. I woke up to 60 mph winds and scared sleepless - when we got up and out Sunday there were mounds of hail everywhere.

I hate our summers but I'm this far south so we can complain about a 60 degree winter - not this!

we are expecting the snow to hit here Wednesday. I suppose to work on Wed. That means I have to drive in the mids of the storm. Nurses can't call out due the weather.

It's 10 pm Monday nite and right now it's 10 degrees, or minus 3 with the wind chill factor. Crystal clear skies,lots of stars out. My car had frost on the inside of the windshield at 8 pm when I left a mtg. We're suppose to get 7 to 10 inches of new snow tomorrow eve, I hope they're wrong. There's still a few inches of ice on the residential streets, DH had some trouble getting into the driveway tonight with his big truck in 4 wheel drive. Be safe out there!! started snowing about 10 pm here. Had to run to grocery store and roads already really slick. Supposed to get several inches but not sure. Also pretty cold!

We have about 2 inches of snow, but supposed to get between 5-7 inches by the time it ends around noon on Tuesday.

Lucky you! Central California is cold, not much sun, gets up to about 48 degrees during the day.

I'm in California. It's cold and online temp says it's 42 degrees. I was just outside and it's calm and clear (or looks to be).

Woke up to snowing this morning. Snowed most of the day everything from big fluffy feathery flakes to tiny little hard ones. Suppose to get somewhere between 2 to 6 inches tomorrow and cold wind also.

OKC temp is 13 degrees at 3:45 a.m. but wind chill at 0. Light snow flurries all day.

One consulation I went to the LQS Monday and started the block of the month so I will have something to get to work on.

We just got 14" of snow since Sunday morning. It's 5 am here and it's 1 degree with a windchill of -18. I really don't want to get out and go to work this morning.

lakeside, middle tennessee: two inches of snow yesterday, and another inch (?) of snow & ice falling right now. Temps hovering under freezing. brrrr... I Love it! It's so beautiful outside. Wintertime is my favorite season (that's one of the pluses of retirement - winters spent snuggled indoors with my honey).

2 or 3 inches doesn't sound like much in the north, but southern snow shuts the world down.

Here in south central Nebraska it is -5 degrees this morning, 7am. Yesterday we shoveled about 14 inches of snow and than the wind came up.

Here in Pittsburgh Pa this morning at 8 a.m. it is cold. BUT the snow is supposed to start at 11 and we are to get 3-6 inches and a bit more tomorrow. Hope the roads are good tomorrow, my sister and I have a day out planned for exploring a quilt shop we have never been to. How dare the snow ruin our plans.

Kansas City has 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and we woke up to 8 degrees. Brrrr! And it's going to get colder - 0 degrees as a low predicted for tomorrow. No school yesterday and today!

NW Arkansas (2 miles from Okla. border) very cold, 10 degrees this a.m.,
1-2" snow on ground. Won't warm up into 40's until Thurs. or Fri.
No snowplows, so roads thaw, then re-freeze overnight. Ugh!
