I like the idea but I don't have an electric supply close by. I think if I built a house I would put one in.

Re the urinal...nearby neighbors had a urinal installed in the (very small) basement of their (equally small) house in what could be referred to as the 'man cave'. When they listed the house for sale a while back, they listed the house as having 1.5 bathrooms! Apparently a urinal on the wall constituted a 'half bath'!
As to the bidet...no desire here. If for no other reason, I'd not want to take up that much floor space for a separate unit. I've seen some combo units, that, if the bidet is your preference, would be a far better choice - in my opinion. |

A bidet is not something on my list of wants but I highly recommend installing a toilet that is a bit higher than the usual one. Not a true handicapped one as those are quite expensive but one that is taller than usual. Time or perhaps injury or surgery can take away being able to get up from that. It may take away the need for installing a grab bar on the wall or extra assistive devices in the future.
