i am having a garage sale this weekend it is a treasure hunt garage sale.
you get to go through boxes of stuff and trough my garage find your find and make me an off i just can't refuse. it will save me a lot of work sorting and putting things out neatly with a physical dissability it owuld be difficult what dose everone think |
I think if you wanna get rid of your stuff cheap, that's the way to do it. But, if you're wanting to make some money enlist the help of someone so you can get some $$.

Wow..what a clever idea.
I hope you make lots of cash! Let us know how it goes. My daughter's neighborhood yard sales are in June. Maybe we'll do the same thing. |
When I go to garage sales I look for the price. If it's not there I usually leave. I dont' like to haggle!
Sorry, just my opinion. |
I have never heard of this, but it sounds intriguing. Just make sure you have *large*, very explicit signs up that explain each step for the buyer. If I stopped at this kind of garage sale and did not understand what was happening, I would be more likely to leave than to ask what was going on.

Good luck let us know how it goes so that I can try it next time.

Clever idea :D:D:D

I agree with most of the others. I figured that if someone wanted to sell an item then they would price it so make sure you place plenty of signage explaining what you are doing. Remember if you want to get rid of stuff keep the prices low.

i dont' usually ask prices either, i just leave and i absolutely hate when they say, Well what will you give me?
I don't want to insult anyone, but i am ...looking for a great deal :) |
