why is it men just drop off as soon as they lay down and snore the night away and we women are awake most of the night?

I don't know either, but I'm thinking you didn't read yesterdays funny about snoring. I will look and try and post the link. Maybe you'll be able to test the theory!

quite the generalization---
i know a number of men who suffer from insomnia...i don't think it's true men drop off to sleep- women lay awake...i think it's
anyone with alot on their mind lays awake- those who handle stress a little better- sleep better...man or woman- makes no difference.

In our house, I am the one who drops off to sleep first. My hubby has complained about it for years. But if I wake up in the middle of the night, uugghh....I never get back to sleep!

What annoys me is when I fall asleep trying to watch a TV program. Then, I move myself to the bed & cannot go back to sleep.
