I love math! I always laugh when kids say that they "won't need this after they finish school". Not true! I love it when I have to come up with equations to figure something out... it's like doing puzzles!

ME TOO

I LOVE Math and do it for a living..most in my head. I find it very helpful in my quilting as well.

math is a weird thing, I always thought it was too hard for me in school, but I love love love physics - the theories of it anyway; and I have come to understand math is a very artistic and controlled way of creating. Esp in quilting, math is elegant. If you dont put a block in you head that says "you cant do math" it actually is fairly easy. The girl who played Winnie on The Wonder Years is a math wiz, has a math degree now and has written 3 books for girls on how to "get" math. I read one from the library - if you have D or GD having trouble w/ math check these out, it will change their lives in a good way! You can do anything if you dont tell yourself you cant. sharet
(I think the girls name is: Dannica Patrick? Dannica Mc something?? Its Dannica)
