A color catcher is a piece of fabric that has a chemical on it that will catch color that bleeds out of fabrics that you are prewashing to check for color fastness. They look something like a dryer sheet. I have reused them and never had a problem with them.

If you used the 'Shout' brand I know you can continue to use them up to 20 or 30 times. They have a tracker on the side of the box so you can mark every time you use it.

I have reused mine several times and no problems.
