I just washed a full load of fabrics in a wide array of colors...think it was about 18 one yard cuts....and a 10 yard piece of white on white!
would you believe that color catchers (2) came out white..like nothing was ever near them! is it possible to use these color catchers again? just because they look unused, how do you know if the chemical or what ever it is they used on it will work for the next load? |
that's an interesting thought... i'll keep watching for the answer
|
Have not used them myself but interested in finding out.

Yep you can. Actually numerous times.

I tear mine in half so they can cover the load and love how they make washing NEW fabric so easy..especially now that I have a clothesline to hang it out on..less loads, saves $$ for more STUFF..hehhe |
How does one know when they are no longer effective?

I might use them twice, but doubt I would chance it more than that! |
I re-use mine until they show color, then I throw them away.

were can you buy color catcher? I looked at Wat-Mart and they didn't carry them.

I re-use mine all the time. If they have just a hint of color I still use them and find them effective.
