Here's what happened just a minute ago-
I was minding my own business and sitting at a red light, in the right turn lane, which had a sign "No turn on red". So I'm waiting for a green light, right?
This guy pulls up behind me, honks his horn a few times, revs his engine, backs up (I thought he was going to ram the back of my car) swerves around me to the left, cuts in front of me and makes a right turn while the light was still red.
OK...I can live with that. No damage done, if you're in that big of a hurry, then just go.
But as he was going around me he's is spewing filthy language at me and flipping me the bird!!!
What did I do wrong? Nothing.
He was not a kid either. He looked like late 30's at least.
This happens alot.
Teenagers or adults walking at the mall or in the movies while waiting for it to start, cussing.
Whenever I hear someone talking on their phone, they cuss. Whenever someone annoys them, flip the bird and cuss. (Females doing it too)
Is it just me?
Has the human race gotten that immature?

Shame on you for adhering to the rules of the road!! :D Too bad there wasn't a police car nearby. Glad you weren't hurt!!
There does seem to be a lot of rage everywhere these days. I love being home and watching my Yankees!!!! At the rate I'm going I will turn into a hermit! I love my husband dearly but he has terrible road manners- not swearing etc, but he doesn't observe a lot of the rules. Turning on a no turn is just one thing he does. Makes me nuts. Our cars are almost identical but his insurance is almost double mine...........

you ought to hear the kids at the elementary schools!! It is horrible.

I am so glad that you weren't hurt. It amazes me some days how far society has degraded just in my short 38 years! The one thing that I respect MOST about my father is that he NEVER EVER swore around us. He raised us not to!...Not that my brothers listened to that lesson at all...but I did! I am sorry that you had to be a victim of someone's stupidity and rage. I hope that person crosses a police officer someday and learns a lesson...though odds are slim.

My parents used the expression, "swear like a sailor". That's funny, I've never heard Popeye swear. We moved out of the city and that was one of the reasons. Everyone was in such a hurry all the time. Maybe I'm just getting old.

As much as I dislike the "Big Brother" cameras springing up on nearly every stop light, it sure has made an impact on events like you had. There used to be constant problems when people thought they could get away with being bullies. It's not as easy when that ticket comes in the mail with the picture of their misbehavior.

I have the feeling some of the people who act like that were not taught to drive in areas that had stop light or traffic.

It's really hard to find a TV program or movie anymore without cussing or rudeness. I'm with you...sick of it.

I hear ya. I mainly listen to the radio anyone. Thank God you weren't hurt. What a jerk (guy)

A few years back, before EZPass was available in NH, I drove my mother and her friend to CT to a Salvation Army retreat. Along the way, we neared a toll pavillion in MA (not that it couldn't happen elsewhere). I got a bit confused trying to figure out what toll lane to use (I didn't have EZPass at the time) and ended up, as you can probably guess, in the EZPass lane. I realized my mistake when I went to throw money in a slot that wasn't there.

One more thing I should mention is that this was around 10:30 on a weekday and there were very few cars on the road.

As I sat there for a moment (maybe 10 seconds), trying to figure out what to do now, an enormous Expedition SUV pulls up behind me and starts blowing his horn, non-stop. I don't bow to such tactics so I took a couple more seconds before moving on. Being an overly honest person (?), I went down to the next exit, turned around, and went thru the tolls twice to make up for my mistake. I also asked for a receipt so I could prove I'd paid, one way or the other. When I explained why I wanted the receipt, the toll taker asked if that what all the noise was about? Ah, yes, I made a mistake. "What a jerk!" Thank you, my sentiments exactly!

Final note, my mother and her friend were both in their 80's. How proud that guy's mother would have been that day!

How about only married people being nude in bed with each other?
