To me the idea of having a board is to get as many answers, tips, ideas and points of view as possible. I've gained so much from this board. If I only wanted one person's thoughts on a subject I would just go to a friend. I've learned a lot on here and love it...I've never felt cheated, but have met some wonderful people who have a wealth of info to share. I'm thankful to have found this board.

Not cheated, but annoyed that some read a question and immediately offer the same answer that has been posted numerous times already. Or that some don't read the thread post completely and offer answers that have no relation to the original post at all. I, too, like to look thru all the answers to see if I can learn something new.

I don't feel cheated, I feel very informed. There is always an answer that will work for your needs.

No way! I love it...I have learned so much on this board and reading other replies has made that even better!

Tartan, I agree with you on that as even though we may have our own methods someone elses may be better to try. We are always learning here.

I don't feel cheated but snoopy maybe. like I'm reading someones mail. But then that is okay here . I have learned so much here like they said above you can pick up alot of tips and learn alot from the answers.

When I first joined I asked if I should bother responding is a post has 3-4 pages of responses. Since then I have only posted a few new threads and I can only say I enjoy reading every response I get, the more the better. You will find a lot of love and guidence here and the support is so heartwarming. Don't feel cheated, if you ask something that has been asked before this fine board will kindly direct you to where you can find more information.

If there are a lot of answers to a question and what I would have said is already mentioned, I probably won't respond. If there are tons of responses and I don't have time to go through them, I will probably post my answer anyway.

If someone has posted a quilt that I really like, I will respond no matter how many other posts there are.

Why would you feel cheated? The more responses, the more answers, the move advice you get!

I don't feel "cheated" at all. I also read every response to anything I may start.
