I'm doing Baked Hunny Ham, sweet potatoes, corn with roasted red peppers,Boston baked beans, and homemade bread.

This one is easy and looks colorful on the table... Cut carrots obliquely (On a slant)... I always told my kids that that's the way the Easter Bunny eats his carrots... because they look like Easter eggs when they are sliced that way....
add a little water, a Tablespoon of butter and then some ginger (sliced or powdered... sliced is nice). Cook on a low heat while the ham is baking until the carrots are done. Easy
but a tasty dish.

Baked ham with pineapple sauce, whipped sweet potatoes, mashed white potatoes with cheddar cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, scalloped corn bake, fresh fruit cup, wine, beer (no grass - for those of you who read the CHOOSE ONE game thread) coffee, apple pie with french vanilla ice cream, candied pecan bites. Burp - excuse me.

How about the string beans and those onion rings. They're not just for Thanksgiving. :D

We are having potato salad (home made), baked ham, deviled eggs, fresh green beans and rolls. I don't know yet what for dessert maybe some kind of a pie.

We always have a side dish of pasta :) and of course: deviled eggs, green salad, sliced fruit and a warm pineapple dish with cheddar and crackers (sounds gross but its good). Never the green beans, too many people complained of gas with that (ahhh) think its maybe the crunched onions on top? combo? anyone else have issues with the greenbean casserole dish? I think eat what your family loves to eat and is a treat vs a nightly dish.. potato salad? something that is out of the regular and instantly its a holiday special :)
