minnie, I have a recipe for a home made chocolate pudding that calls for crumbled pretzels on top. It was very yummy, you know the salty/sweet thing!
We are having turkey with orange sauce (family isn't big on ham) I'll cook it on Sat., a cheesy potato bake, broccoli salad, and angel food cake with fresh fruit and topping.
It's hard to read about all this food on Good Friday!
Oh, yeah, can't forget the deviled eggs. What else are you going to do with all those hard boiled/dyed eggs!

I had a request for this recipe and I thought someone else might like it as well.
CHOCOLATE PUDDING
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
Mix these together and add
2 c. cold milk
Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, beat
1 egg
temper with about ½ cup of hot mixture then pour all back into hot mixture and mix well.
Stir in till melted
1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pour into serving dishes and chill 1 hour.
This was very chocolatey so you could use a little less cocoa.

A good topping for this.
Break about ½ to ¾ cup pretzels onto baking sheet. Pour 1 tbsp. melted margarine over and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400* for 10 min. Cool and sprinkle over chilled pudding.

I got this from the Food Network back in April 2009. One of my daughters did have trouble with the pudding setting up, I don't know why because mine was fine.

I make a lamb shaped cake. Got the mold from my grandmother. She's been making them since before WII. The same mold can be found on ebay.

Nobody is bringing Chicken and Noodles??? that's a staple at every holiday meal we have. (of course I am usually the one that makes them) and broccoli and rice casserole. Oh, someone mentioned candied yams, those are one of my favorites. Little smokies are good too. ok, I'm hungry now...

I'm making ham, and twiced baked potatoes. We always have an olive salad and I make that. The others are bring the rest. We always have too much food. We also have a large dessert table. I would love the polish sauage and noodles, but no one else does.
