I really don't have a collection of any one subject. I acquire things that appeal to me. Although I do have a lot of odd coffee cups with funny sayings on them.

I collect vintage sewing notions...silver thimbles, and pincushions. I love the ocean and have a ton of shells, and more than one lighthouse...
I also seem to be accumulating sewing machines...dunno how that happened!! ;)

I collect Sewing cards, vintage sewing notions, thimbles,pin cushions, planters to make pin cushions small boxes and rick rack and lace and of course fabric.

I collect churches, fabric, and things that look like the forties, Maybe like little people nick knacks. I have a thimble cvollection that a friend started me on and my DH was in the Navy then and got me some from overseas. Oh and prisms to hang in my windows, so I have rainbows everyday, if the sun is shinning,

It seems that I collect quilt patterns and quilt books. That needs to cease so I can make more room for fabric. :wink:

my days of collecting are over. I enjoy my aprons, old linen, old embroidery, handkerchiefs, hummels, snowbunnies, small old sewing things. I don't seek out these treasures but..if I come across something I get it. I am working on a handkerchief quilt too.

Oh...I forgot...aprons, purses, antique/vintage cast iron cookware, trivets...the JZH alphabet series is one that I'm after now...I have about 15-16 of them! :)

I collect anything dragonfly. I've dedicated my home office to those. Oh and I love hand made dolls/bunnies. Come to think of it I have a new pattern for a doll that I might start soon.

I collect sewing machines (lost count of how many) and "old time - tried and used - still in great shape" cooking and baking things. I figure if they looked good and were still around 40-50 years later they must be great. Haven't gotten rid of anything yet and lots of them are my FAVORITE to use!
