Here is my final cake from class and my first roses.. I gave the cake to my dil for her birthday..

Her favorite color is purple.. I hope it tasted as good as it looked.

Lindsey, your roses are very beautiful... I took a cake decorating class many years ago, but never got roses to look like roses... sigh... Congratulations!!

She told us running1 that don't be upset cause no one will be able to make one the first try. But everyone I made went on this cake. I was so happy..

Looks good to me! That's a skill I've always wanted to learn, but somehow never found the time. Now I try not to eat that stuff, so my guess is I'll never learn!

It's a beautiful cake! I learned roses when my daughter requested pink ones for her third birthday. They were fun to learn, and she loved them!

That is awesome. My hubby and daughter are taking a class right now and their final is on Sunday. Tough for a girl to lose any weight around them though! Good job.
