Thank the Lord that you are safe and sound, you must have been so scared. If the medication is important, maybe you should keep a bag with some in it close to the door so you could grab it on the way out.

Glad your safe!

It's funny how you can do a dry run of what you would bring but when it actually happens your brain sort of freezes up on you. Glad you all are safe, you're what's important.

What a frightening situation ! So glad to hear you all are OK !

I was watching the news last night around 6pm - they were evacuating Pala Duro and Sunday Canyon in Lubbock because of wildfires. The winds and dry weather are a bad combination we need rain really bad.

Can we send some from Minnesota? We have had more than our share this Spring.

Yes please, we need to tap into the Mississippi and route some of that water south.

Glad you are back home & safe. I hate fires- we have been evacuated before. I have a small fire proof safe that I have filled with papers, photos of our house & its contents, & a list of things to grab if we have to go. I also have some cash in there- when the electric is out credit cards & debit cards won't work; lesson learned during the Northridge Earthquake.
