I hate folding, so wash and put right back on the bed.

I roll the entire set up together, bottom and top sheet and then wrap ONE pillow case around it, then stick them all in the other case. That way I can cram them in the linen closet and instantly find what I want.

Oh thank you thank you. I also iron my sheets. I was afraid I was the only one. Grandma's have to stick together.

I fold. But only I can do it. I'm left handed. Everytime DH folds something and I go to undo it I have a huge knot.

I do that exact same thing. It's so good to have all the pillow cases and sheets together and ready for making the bed.

Don't fold the sheets--just pull them off the clothes line and put them back on the bed. Love that fresh smell of outdoors.

My Mother had a IRONRITE mangle.... it was my priviledge to do the sheets and pillowcase on it. I was so proud to have that job/. Soon I learned to do my fathers trousers, but only needed the tops done, they always lined dried with pants stretchers in them...... now,,,,,do I sound OLD or what?

now I washs sthem put them back on the beds..... but extra sheets ,pillowcases always get folded very nicely for the small space in my linen closet.

Yes, I always fold my sheets and the fitted ones are no problem. I pin them to the line by the 2 short ends. Fold and bring up the bottom and pin that by the same cothspin. then take off 1 clothpin and fold in half and keep folding that way and they are perfectly folded and go on the shelf. My daughter -in-law was dumbfounded when she saw me fold a fitted sheet. She said she didn't think you could fold a fitted sheet.
And she said she never knew anybody who did fold a fitted sheet. So she learned something from me.

I had an Ironrite Mangle, too. My mom taught me how on hers. The year my husband bought me one was the best Christmas. I ironed everything, ruffes, pleats, starched white men's dress shirts, jeans and slacks, all my kids school clothes, everything. I just loved it. I still love to iron, even by hand.

Fitted ones are easiest to fold in half, put corner in corner then 2 corners into other 2 and fold. Little 4 ft.6in. gal taught me this when I was a newlywed. Yes, I fold and hang on the line. Usually don't have wrinkles if there is a breeze.
