It's been a while since I posted any pictures. Here's hoping I remember how!! Trying to get pictures was a riot. They seem to know when the shutter is going to click to move. It was also late in the day and the lighting wasn't the best.

In the middle picture the fateful meeting outside the chicken yards where they are separated. It took the big hens a minute to realize what was going on . Then they took turns chasing them away from the rooster, Golden Boy. He is such a sweetheart. Well they all survived........By the way, the white hen is the only one without a topknot. !

they are beautiful, thanks for the pictures. it's amazing that they 'protected' the darn tootin rooster, of all things!!
How old are they now. are the ones without the top knot roosters? when will you have babies? what will you do with the beautiful feathers. |
This chickens are just too cute! I've never seen this type before. Do you get eggs from them? (Probably a dumb question) Oh, well. Thanks for sharing.

Yes I'm a small town girl but love critters of all kinds. |
Thanks for the pictures. They are so cute. I love the one with the golden chest. Hope they all get along. The bigger hens probably were picking on the little ones.
