I don't know if he even went to college, but now, according to his CV, he is the world's foremost expert on trading red paperclips for houses. How many of us can say that? |
I'll make my own, thanks!

Asking so much is extreme, saying unsued amount will go to charity. So does that mean the student will get to deduct the extra on the income tax as a contribution? Seems like about at least an $800,000.00 contribution on the taxes. --- Seems this person is looking for a free ride and then some. Remember it is stated that any extra money will go to a charity of "my choice".

Shucks I just blew my life savings at the gas station -

Dang, you mean to tell me I could have just made and auctioned a quilt instead of spending three years waiting tables, tutoring, and cleaning houses to put my DD through college?!? NOW you tell me!

Thanx for the wonderful chuckle for the day....

if it sells, I might try it. still paying on DS college. like forever.......

Most likely the Grandmother made it for the student, the student does not appreciate the effort or love that went into the quilt, and years from now the student will regret having sold it. But a million? I have two in college now, and it is not that expensive - unless, of course, the student is studying the art of having a good time!

Lovely. His last sale - a tied Wolf quilt - also Grandma made - sold for $30.
I think he's being optimistic, and/or rates Grandma's work VERY highly :) lol |
