I've done it twice. First time ER put in three stitches. Second time just cut it clean off. DH told me I couldn't use it again until I got a guard on the ruler. Haven't made any more boo-boos. But I'm much more careful.

I am glad that it doesn't seem to be infected, but I still think a visit to the doc might be wise...especially if it has been a while since you had a tetanus shot.

So sorry to read about your sore finger.
Hope it heals fast, quilter68 who is now 69 I should add that the E.R. Dr. was able to stitch 7 stitches to less than an inch on my left index finger. He said he put 4 stiches but my primary took out 7 stitches. We were talking and laughing so he must have lost count. It is barely visable now. |
I wish they would invent something for us rotory cutting users.Meat cutters have special gloves.We all might need a pair of those.I hope it gets better and heals quickly for you.

I changed the dressing last night and it looks SOOOOOO much better! I'm actually wearing a smaller dressing today and can now TYPE with both hands!!!! :D Yes, it was an OUUUUCH! But kicking myself in the butt seems to hurt a lot worse.. :mrgreen:
