This is a great idea. I don't have time right now, but have a great WW recipe called stuffed pepper soup that is really good - I make it freqently. Will try to post it tomorrow. Our leader sends us recipes via email, and our WW group is also very sharing :)

I don't belong to WW, too much $$ for me. But I did go check out SparkPeople.com and this may be the thing I need to get motivated. I joined a gym last month, but have only gone twice a week. Finally the rain stopped here in Sacramento, so going for my workout in an hour. I would love to see some recipes....

WW Recipe for stuffed pepper soup

1 lb. lean ground beef, browned (I used ground turkey)
1 onion, chopped
1 can (14.5 oz.) tomatoes, chopped
1 can beef broth (I used chicken broth)
1 lg. can tomato soup (26 oz.)
2 cups water
1 cup brown rice, uncooked
1 tsp. garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring contents to boil. Let simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Add more water if soup gets too thick. Makes 8 cups, 6 points per cup.

OMG, I forgot the peppers! Also 2 to 3 green, red and/or yellow peppers, chopped.

Sounds really good, I love soups.

I have been thinking about joining WW but I am not a good record keeper. I don't want to have to count or write down everything. Is this the wrong program for me? I joined about 15 years ago and gained weight on it. Kind of makes me hesitant.

My recipe for this is a tad different but in the end probably tastes the same, I make it often.

I joined about 3 years ago & have kept off about 46 lbs......problem is I want to lose and keep off about 8 more lbs!

But, WW is the best eating plan.

Remember, you never graduate from WW, it is a lifetime commitment!

Some of my classmates and I go out to eat every week after our meeting!

I joined WW in June of 2009 and reached my goal weight in March of 2010. I have now lost a total of 96 lbs and have plenty of freedom with what I eat. Counting is a bit of a pain, but go by a meeting and get a calculator. I take it to the grocery store with me.

When you get home, put the points plus values on the boxes, containers, etc and you'll never have to figure it out again.

It's OK to 'cheat' on occasion just not every day!

I don't think I could have done this on-line. I get so much support from my group meeting not to mention some fantastic recipies, new brands or snacks that others have discovered, etc.

Hang in there and keep tracking, it will get easier!

::smacks forehead:: I need to do that when I shop. I want to get some crackers for when I have soup. I keep meaning to look up point value for stuff but don't think about it until I get to the store. Great tip!
