I still feel around on the floor of the car for the button to press for high and low beam headlights.

I still find myself trying to shift my old pick up truck with the shifter on the steering column and we drive a car now. Goes to show how much time I spent in it! Loved that truck! Still miss it!

If you have a tablet computer, you know that to enlarge something, you touch 2 fingers to the screen and spread them apart. I caught myself doing that to printed text the other day. Didn't work worth a darn.

I've done that!

My son and I were in Virginia. I was visiting him when he was in the Army. We rented a car, but when night came we turned on the lights and couldn't figure out how to turn off the high beam. We thought we would have to not drive until daylight. We asked a policeman about it and he showed us that it was now on the stick by the steering wheel, not on the floor. That was early '80s.

Good thread!! I hate to think how many times I've tried to make a phone call using my computer keypad!

When our phone rings I often land up trying to answer the phone with the t.v remote control. I know I'm getting old.
