I wish all of you could be here too. Your prayers are probably the best and most important thing you could ever do. God Bless You All with a wonderful spring day soon, Gwyn

My husband died at 54 from pancreatic cancer. He did live 2 years after diagnosis without a lot of problems..Family is so important at this time. Please lean on them, this is a hard thing to go through. I had a hard time just knowing it was time to let him go after 35 years of happy marriage. I really know what you are dealing with.
My love and prayers are with you and your family.

*HUGS* thinking of you and sending tons of prayers ...

Glad you finally got him to go to the ER...
You are so right that this disease is not an easy one. In many ways I think it may be almost harder on the family than on the sick one, as there is medication to help with the physical pain, but not for you and the rest dealing with the emotional trauma of watching your loved one slip away.
Your family is certainly in my thoughts and prayers!

Prayers for you and your husband. If it is a doll quilt you are concerned about, can I make one for you? PM me.

Margie(I am sure not the best sewer or quilter but I will be happy to do it)

Good Morning Gwyn,
I have to rush off to work this morning, after working a long day yesterday, but wanted to stop by and give you a (((((HUG)))) and let you know you are in our prayers and thoughts.
I'll check back in later this afternoon to see how you and Randy are doing.

Update from Gwyn:

It is almost over. All we can do is keep him comfortable and pray. The end is near 1-3 days. My oldest son will be here tomorrow afternoon. I think Randy is trying to hold on until he gets here. Then it will probably go pretty quickly.

I think this is harder on the kids than me right now. After he is gone, I get to learn to live without daily contact. We will be okay, our family is strong. Thanks for all your wonderful notes and pm messages. And your prayers.

Randy has been diagnosed with non-Hogkins Lymphoma as well as the other cancers. His kidneys are shut down and he can't maintain his blood sugar without IV. We are giving him oxygen, pain and anxiety meds, and dextrose. Nothing else. Now, we wait for God to decide the right time. Thanks for your support, Gwyn
