I Could of wrote this It is my lifestyle except I don't live in the country live in a city but never inviter people over. When family comes they know my house will be presentable but not extra clean and maybe a little cluttered. I only clean good right before I go away for a while and that is because if something happens to me I don't want dishes in sink or floor needing vacumned

Sounds about as good as it gets to me.

Sounds like a winner to me!

It is a lifestyle choice that I heartily endorse...except I can't stand a dirty kitchen sink! Hey, we're all allowed one phobia!

The one thing I really hate and never seem to find the time to do is dusting. DH likes to 'rattle my chain' a bit about it ... like making fingerprints in the dust, etc. So last week I bought him his very own whole box of Swiffer dusters. I thought that was very nice of me to do that.

The rule at our house is--If you touch it and leave a mark, you dust it!

I really envy you. I feel like I have non-stop family in all day. I am pretty sure they love me but would they love me as much if I did't cook. LOL If I don't cook they open a can of something so I have way too many dirty dishes. I do put them in the dishwasher dirty. If I had to wash them before putting them in the dishwasher I wouldn't need the dishwasher.

I understand the concept of cooking and cleaning,
just not as it applies to me.

I read recipes the same way I read science fiction -
I get to the end and think ........
Well, that's not gonna happen!

I find it helps to categorize my chores:
Things I won't do now.
Things I won't do later.
Things I'll never do.

There should be support groups for women who can't put their dishes in the dishwasher dirty.

Maxine taught me this lifestyle and I thank her for it!
