Let me see if I understand the problem...She wants a machine that does ABCD and E, But yours does ABCDFGHIJKLM....So YOU should give her a discount? I wonder how that "logic" would work with other things? Hmmm.... I don't want to use green money anymore, so the government should change the color, AND give me a better rate than everyone else. I don't want to put stamps on letters, so I should just use some of my scrap booking stamps, and the PO should buy me the ink. Yep, makes as much sense as she does. I wonder what drugs she was on when she wrote to you???!!!

She's a trouble maker and just might keep harrassing you. I would contact ebay so they are so informed. Some people are so lonely that they feel the need to make everyone's life miserable. If you sold it to her or not, whe will ALWAYS have problems - the first not having ANY $$ to pay for it!!

go to ebay "help" and type in "block a bidder" and follow directions and add her name at the end...

I blocked her/him as a bidder but does that block them from emailing me through ebay on the item I have listed?

Pam,
contact ebay and turn her in !!
she is in violation of the rules.
If you don't she is free to roam ebay and do the same to others and that is just not fair.

Some people don't know how to use the gray matter in thier heads...LOL

Isn't it fun to just shake your head and move on. i would not even respond to her

NanaCsews2 03-27-2011 02:01 PM

You could reply back and tell her now that you know more info about it, the machine is more valuable. Add $2000 to the price....
Seriously, stick to your guns and do not reply to her. There are those out there that do this to people. They sit in wait for people to be taken advantage of. I have had some replies with 'tone' from Ebay. I just hit 'delete' then send Ebay a remark about the replier. They want to know about those remarks!
Your machine is worth every penny and then some. My Ellegante would sell for 1500-1800 on Ebay. Full price was 6500, I paid 3500 3 years ago from a LQS. I wouldnt sell it for less than the 3500 today. Others may have different thoughts, but that is the value to me.

Jade - I finally responded one last time and told her to stop emailing me - that the auction was what the auction was for and that I didn't want to report her to ebay but that one more email from her and I would. I didn't advise her that I had blocked her as a bidder but I haven't heard anything else.

I haven't sold the machine yet. I'm on my 3rd three day run - I get about 12 watchers each time and around 15 questions on the last day and then no one bids! Oh well - I'm crossing my fingers people are just waiting for their income tax return :)

My thoughts as well.
